Tuesday, September 11, 2001...   The 2,993 confirmed victims of September 11th 2001, included innocent victims from 87 countries. The youngest victim was 2 year old Christie Hanson - The oldest victim was 85 year old Robert Grant Norton. 3,251 children lost a Parent on that day... All the innocent victims were just... going to work... at work... traveling to see friends & family... going on vacation... or trying to protect lives & property...

       

Timeline: 8:45am American Airlines Flight 11 Flying from Boston, Massachusetts to Los Angeles, California, had 81 passengers, nine crew members and two pilots aboard. The Boeing 767 crashed into the North Tower of the WTC. 9:03am: United Airlines Flight 175 Flying from Boston to Los Angeles, contained 56 passengers, 7 crew members and 2 pilots. This plane crashed into the South Tower. 9:43am: American Airlines Flight 77 Flying from Dulles Airport outside Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles, had 58 passengers, 4 crew members and 2 pilots, it crashed into the Pentagon. 10:00am: United Airlines Flight 93 Flying from Newark, New Jersey, to San Francisco, California, crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, about 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. This plane held 37 passengers, 5 crew members and 2 pilots. It is hard to believe that it has been 7 years already since 9-11-01. On that day America suffered a terrorist attack on the World Trade Center Twin Towers, the Pentagon and on Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania. Our hearts went out to all of the families and friends of the victims, our firefighters and heroes of that terrible day, and still do. Some of us may want to forget what happened that day, but most of us can't forget! Nor should we, in my opinion. I know it definitly opened my eyes to America's vulnerability which I hadn't really thought about until then. It made me realize life is way too short and made me much closer to my family & friends and not to take anything for granted. I hate to admit it, but it's a shame that it takes such a thing to make you stop and think! I know I'm guilty!
